Packing

Based on experience we recommend to pack the belongings you will need upon arrival in accessible suitcases. This way you won’t have to wait until the whole container is delivered to access your things as the suitcases will be delivered separately.

We can supply the packing boxes before our team comes to pack up the house. Most customers prefer to pack their own belongings (please inform us if you wish to pack yourself).

On packing day the team will arrive with the necessary material and tools for packing. SMART-MOVE supplies the best packing material available on the market.

For goods that needs special packing, the boxes will be supplied beforehand.

The packing team will pack everything. All you need to do is supervise their work and relax.

During the packing, the team will mark your boxes with special ID number to facilitate tracking. They will also make a complete list of your belongings for tax and insurance purposes.

On packing day, you will be required to fill in an insurance form indicating the value of all your belongings. Please remember to photocopy all the pages of your passport.

We don’t recommend to ship alcohol and food as regulations in some countries do not allow importing perishables.

We provide building services for packing industrial machines, high tech equipment, art, or other large goods. Our representative will come to you without any commitment on your side.

Our packing services take place on the customer site and make sure that all the goods are packed appropriately.

We can also supply our customers with all the necessary material to pack without our services.
